The purpose of this research was to study theelementary school graduates' characteristics in basicknowledge, basic skills, moral and ethical valuesaccording to the needs of the industrial entrepreneursand the elementary school teachers in the vicinity ofBangkok Metropolis. The study was analysed by surveying, studying andcollecting data from rating scale questionnaires. Thesamples of this study were the industrial entrepreneursand the elementary school teachers under thejurisdiction of the Office of the National PrimaryEducation Commission from Nakornpathom, Nontaburi,Pathumtanee, Samuthprakarn and Samuthsakorn. The results revealed that the desirablecharacteristics on basic knowledge were as follows: tobe able to communicate with working staff, to be ableto work safely with machines and work in groups, toobtain the basic knowledge in vocational practices. Inaddition, the desirable characteristics on basic skillregarding to the muscular skills were found in thefollowings: to be able to work effectively both ingroups and individual, to be able to implicate theknowledge in work development. Whereas the thinkingskills were as follows: having positive attitude andhaving initiation at work. The desirablecharacteristics on moral and ethical values alsorevealed as follows: punctuality, honesty for personaland social benefits, self-discipline,self-responsibility, diligence as well as forgivenessto others. |
