The purposes of this research were two-fold: (1) to compareprathom suksa three students' Thai reading comprehension abilitythrough cooperative learning between the groups using writingactivities and the group using non-writing activities. (2) tocompare prathom suksa three students' Thai reading comprehensionability before and after the experiment in the same groups. The samples were sixty-four students of prathom suksa threefrom Banmoh Patanarat School, Amphur Banmoh, Saraburi Thestudents were divided into two experimental groups of thirty-twostudents in each group. The experimental group 1 were providedreading through cooperative learning of using writing activitieswhile the experimental group 2 were provided non-writingactivities. The instrument used in this research were the Thaireading comprehension ability tests. The data were analyzed byusing t-test. The findings indicated that 1. Thai reading comprehension ability of prathom suksathree student groups through cooperative learning of usingwriting activities and those of using non-writing was notstatistically different at the .05 level of significance. 2. Thai reading comprehension ability of prathom suksathree students before and after the experiment in the same groupsof experimental group 1 and group 2 was statistically differentat the .05 level of significance. |
