The aim of the thesis was to improve productivity for shampoo packingline and reduce material loss from process packing line. The step of studywas to collect and analyse the past 6 months data records. The technique ofPareatou was applied to select main problems. The 5 why technique was usedto verify the causes of problems. The study was found that (1) the 3-mainproblems of production line were machine breakdown , line set up time andline cleaning time. (2) The work had proposed the action plans to improveline productivity by developing the inspection standard for capper andlabeller machine to reduce machine breakdown, and also proposed new processprocedure for line set up and line packing cleaning by adding technicianfrom other line to assist the works. Finally, the action plan of materialloss reduction was performed. (3) The results of implementation showedsignificantly improvement by the line productivity of 200 ml of shampoosize was increased from 1.68 to 1.79 m3/line hr, line productivity of 400ml of shampoo size was increased from 2.58 to 2.83 m3/line hr, andtherefore the raw materials loss were decreased from 0.66% to 0.35 % orsaved the cost by 628,003 baht/month. |
