This thesis aims to 1) Study the attitude of Thai male prostitutes both not belonging andbelonging to the brothels in Bangkok Metropolis about the Prevention and Suppression ofProstitution Act., B.E. 2539 and Sex Education. 2) Compare the education and attitude betweenmale prostitutes both not belonging and belonging to the brothels about the Prevention andSuppression of Prostitute Act., B.E. 2539 and Sex Education. 3) Compare the education andattitude of Thai male prostitutes in Bangkok Metropolis categorized by age, place of birth,Education, marital status, occupation and information receiving about the Prevention andSuppression of Prostitute Act., B.E. 2539 and Sex Education. 4) Set up and develop the Non -Formal Education Program regarding about the Prevention and Suppression of Prostitute Act.,B.E. 2539 and Sex Education for male prostitutes in Bangkok. 5) Compare the Result of the Non - Formal Education Program regarding about the Prevention and Suppression of Prostitute Act.,B.E. 2539 and Sex Education developed for both not belonging and belonging to the brothels inBangkok. The total amount of male prostitute samples both not belonging and belonging to thebrothels in Bangkok is 130 persons. The amount of male prostitutes participating the Non-FormalEducation Program regarding about The Prevention and Suppression of Prostitute Act., B.E. 2539and Sex Education is 22 persons. The Knowledge Tests and Attitude Questionnaires and theNon - Formal Education Program are used as the instruments to research and analyze to find thePercentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, T- test and One-way Analysis of Variance. The results are the followings: 1. Most male prostitutes both not belonging and belonging to the brothels have low degree ofknowledge about the Prevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act., B.E. 2539; and moderatedegree of attitude. 2. Most male prostitutes both not belonging and belonging to the brothels have moderate degreeof knowledge about Sex Education Background; and high degree of attitude. 3. There is not difference of significance value of .05 of the knowledge and attitude about thePrevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act., B.E. 2539 and Sex Education of maleprostitutes belonging and not belonging to the brothels, but it shows the difference ofsignificance value of .05 in attitude of Sex Education. 4. There is not difference of significance value of .05 of the factors influencing theknowledge and attitude about the Prevention and Suppression of Prostitution Act., B.E. 2539 andSex Education. 5. Comparision of scores before and after participating the Non-Formal Education Programdemonstrates a significance value of 0.5. After participating the Non-Formal Education Program,it is found that male prostitutes have higher degree of knowledge. 6. The assessment of the program administration demonstrates a high degree of satisfaction withrespects of activities as well as contents and timing. |
