The purpose of the study was to develop a use of childrenliterature-based language instruction program for developing phonologicalawareness of kindergarteners. The program development consisted of fourphases: preparation, construction, field test, and revision. The samples were fifteen kindergarteners at the age of five to sixfrom Wat Parinayok kindergarten school, Bangkok Metropolis. The datacollection of pionological awareness was done before and after the programfield test. The research findings were as follows: 1. After the field test, the scores on phonological awareness ofsamples were significantly higher than those of before at the .01 level. 2. After the field test, the average scores on phonological awarenessof samples were significantly higher than evaluation the program standardat 80%. |
