The purpose of this study is to analyze the development of Nakhon sawan district across the time period. In evaluating the changes, changes are such as economy and society, mainly the structure, of the district and the community. These factors will further help with the development method that will be appropriate for the province in each level. According to the study, Nakhon sawan seemed to have developed from time to time, especially in lower area,that is located between the Northern part of Chao Phaya River and the Southern part of the river. Its location allows Nakhon sawan to be part of the major player in business. Both internal and external factors contributed to the advantage of its location. The land has changed from the central of business deal, including economic growth and major usage of the river in their daily lives, to a city that emphasize on the usage of land. Therefore, these days living style around the river are less to be seen. The changes in developing the country have greatly impacted the area, the province, as well as Nakhon sawan. Currently, Nakhon sawan is one of the major players in Thailand's economy and is also a central for Northern and Central part of Thailand to communicate as well as a central of the business deal, government, and education. On the contrary, the city itself is keeping up with the pace of the development process, which is consistent with the economic situation. The majority of the population has occupation related to trading and services. The main problem that Nakhonsawan faced is in community level, which is the public utility and the society. The social problem includes the wider gap between the rich and the poor, which has not yet been solved. From the research, along with the possible changes in the future, these are the three recommendations for developing Nakhon sawan: 1. To construct the town planning in a suitable way. 2. At district level, to emphasize on the advantage that the district have, which is unique from the others. 3. At the community level, to develop the facility in order to fully serve and adequate for the population's needs. |
