การวิจัยนี้มีจุดมุ่งหมายเพื่อวิเคราะห์ ออกแบบ และพัฒนาระบบห้องสมุดอัตโนมัติ สำหรับหน่วยงานราชการ (Automatic library system) บนเทคโนโลยีไคลเอนต์เซิร์ฟเวอร์ และฐานข้อมูลเชิงสัมพันธ์ โดยมีห้องสมุดกรมป่าไม้เป็นกรณีศึกษา ระบบที่ได้จากงานวิจัยนี้ มีเป้าหมายในการสร้างระบบที่ช่วยให้การบริการห้องสมุดมีประสิทธิภาพดียิ่งขึ้น การพัฒนาระบบทำตามขั้นตอนของวงจรการพัฒนาระบบ (Systems Development Life Cycle : SDLC) โดยใช้ ORACLE สำหรับบริหารจัดการฐานข้อมูล และใช้ Developer 2000 R.2.1 สำหรับการพัฒนาโปรแกรมส่วนที่ติดต่อกับผู้ใช้ ระบบห้องสมุดอัตโนมัติประกอบด้วย 5 ส่วนหลัก ได้แก่ การบันทึกแก้ไขข้อมูลหนังสือ (Cataloging), การสืบค้น (Online Public Access Cataloging), การจัดการข้อมูลสมาชิก (Member control), การยืมคืน (Circulation) และ ข้อมูลสารสนเทศห้องสมุด (Library Management Information System) ระบบห้องสมุดอัตโนมัตินี้ ได้มีการประเมินระบบที่ห้องสมุดกรมป่าไม้โดยใช้แบบ สอบถามซึ่งมีการประเมินผลในด้านประสิทธิภาพของโปรแกรม, ความสะดวกรวดเร็ว, ความ ถูกต้องสมบูรณ์ และการออกแบบหน้าจอ ความคิดเห็นส่วนใหญ่ต่อระบบอยู่ในเกณฑ์พอใช้ สำหรับการพัฒนาระบบต่อไป ควรจะเพิ่มเติมระบบการจองหนังสือ และระบบสืบค้นผ่าน อินเตอร์เน็ต การศึกษาวิจัยนี้ได้บรรลุตามเป้าหมายและวัตถุประสงค์ทุกประการ |
| บทคัดย่อ(English) |
The purposes of this research were to analyze, design and develop an automatic library system for the government library service by using client/server technology and relational database. The Royal Forest Department was used as a case study for developing the system. The system is expected to provide better efficiency of library services. The Systems Development Life Cycle (SDLC) was used as the basis of the research methodology. In particular, ORACLE RDBMS was used for the database. Developer 2000 R.2.1 was used for developing the application programming interfaces running under Microsoft Windows operating system. The Automatic library system consisted of 5 modules. There are Cataloging, Online Public Access Cataloging, Member control, Circulation and Library Management Information System. The Automatic library system has been implemented and evaluated in the Royal Forest Department library. The questionnaire was concerned with the systems performance, convenience and speed, reliability and completeness, and user interface. The result of this system is fair acceptance. For the next development, this system should be added the book reservation and web searching modules. Finally, the study reached the objective and expected result. |
