Salaya Housing Project phase 1-2-3 is the projectunder supported of Bureau of the Crown Properly inhiring-right residential building for teachers andofficers of Mahidol University who work at SalayaCampus. the location of this project is oppositeMahidol University Salaya Campus. Many housing styleshave been built in estimate area 85 Rai, e.g. singlehouse, two storeyed single house, couple house,two-storeyed townhouse, two/three-storeyed commercialbuilding and space area for self-building etc. The objective of this research is to evaluate andto propose a guideline for problem-solution of salayaHousing Project that had been built for teachers andofficers of Mahidol University who work at SalayaCampus. The study is concentrated on Salaya HousingProject history, physical- characteristic, marketing,policy of Bureau of the Crown Property,project-problems, and attitude of the people who workat this campus. Interview and questionnaires was used as mainresearch methods. The sampling population have beendivided in two groups. First group is the people wholive in Salaya Housing Project had been studied intheir social and economics conditions, level of theireducated, living experience, satisfaction with theirhome, facility and utility system, their problems needsand propersals . The second group is the people whowork at Salaya Campus had been studied in social andeconomics conditions, level of educated, livingexperience, their attitude with Salaya Project andhousing need. The research found that Salaya Housing Project isnot successful in their objective to build hireresidents for teachers and officers of MahidolUniversity who work at Salaya Campus. Only 16.7% ofpeople who live in Salaya Project were worked at SalayaCampus, but other are not. The other factors that bringhousing project not successful are they preferownership of property than hire right property, theyresearch hire right for themselves to get more profitfrom selling to the others but they not live really.However, in the future the spread of the city boundarywill make housing project in location of Buddha MontholSai 4 Road more interesting. |
