This thesis was to evaluatie the Nakhonpathom Aquatic Sport Competition Project applying thecontext, input, process, product (CIPP Model). Interview formats 9 and questionnaires were theinstruments for data collection. Context evaluation was used with 4 managerial respondents. Input andprocess evaluation was used in interviewing 38 representatives from 19 committees selecting only thechairperson and a secretary or a member from each committee. Product evaluation was used with 420respondents accidentally sampled from visitors to the Nakhonpathom Aquatic Sport Competition Project.Findings were: It was found with the context evaluation that Nakhonpathom Province has potential in bothenvironment and location to organize an aquatic sport competition except for the rainy climate.Collaboration from 3 workplaces and the management under the governor as CEO successfully drove theproject's objectives and goals. It was found with the input evaluation, that committee members, budget, and materials of eachcommittee were well prepared, adequate and appropriate. It was found with the process evaluation that most committees such as planning, organizing, staffing,directing and controlling were systematic, leading them to achievement. It was found with the product evaluation that those visitors to Nakhonpathom Aquatic SportCompetition Project were highly satisfied with the project. It is recommended that public relation should be more aggressive, establishing a coordinationcommittee with clear job descriptions. Meetings should be organized often to exchange more ideas anddiscussions. Preparedness to meet all climates, changing the starting point of the boat race and clusteringactivities to fit location are also recommended. |
