The purpose of this research are to study evolutionand change of urban land use and to study expansion, form,distribution and problems of commercial and services area inorder to suggest development guidelines of Khon Kaenmunicipality. The result of the study found that factor whichinfluence community expansion in the future is land use forresidents in municipality. Especially,the direction ofmunicipal expansion leading to Axial Development Theory byconcentration along the main load of the city. As well, itis seen that the growth of central business district inmunicipality have concentrated on 2 areas, as followed :first area is Orchira Maket where influence the north pratof municipality , the second area is Central BusinessDistrict (CBD.) where Khon Kaen municipality. It is concluded that the study providing theguidelinees and plains the balance development of twocommercial and service zones by improving land use andtraffic of both area. |
