The purposes of this study were to compare the EssayType-Test scores, Interrater Reliabilities, IntraraterReliabilities obtained from the three different scoring methods:Point method, Sorting method and Impression marking method, andto compare these scores with experts' marked scores. The EssayType-Test was developed by the researcher in order to cover thecontent area of life experiences of Prathom Suksa Six. Thesamples consisted of 30 Prathom Suksa Six students in NakornPathom Province randomly assigned to take the tests and 6teachers and 3 experts who had experiences in teaching the lifeexperiences in Prathom Suksa Six. The 30 answer sheets werecopied for each of 9 scorers. The results of study were asfollows : 1. The scores obtained by the point method showed thelowest mean and SD, While those obtained by the impressionmarking method showed the highest mean and SD. The coefficient ofvariation of scores obtained by the point method showed largervalue than those obtained by the other two methods. 2. The mean score of the sorting as well as the impressionmarking methods was higher significant than that of the pointmethod, (p<.01). 3. The mean score of the sorting,and the impression markingmethods was higher significant than that of the expert markedmethod, (p<.01). 4. The Interrater Reliability value of the point method washigher significant than that of the sorting method and that ofthe impression marking method, (p<.05). |
