The purposes of research were as follows : 1. To study mathematics learning achievement ofMathayom Suksa Two students with different periods of timein practicing on numerical ability, reasoning and spacerelation. 2. To compare mathematics learning achievement ofMathayom Suksa Two students with different periods of timein practicing on numerical ability, reasoning and spacerelation. The samples of this study were 120 Mathayom Suksa Twostudents in 1994 academic year of Wat Rajchabopit school inBangkok Metropolis. They were divided into threeexperimental groups with several short periods, threerelatively long periods and one single long period of timein practicing on numerical ability, reasoning and spacerelation. The research instruments which were constructed byresearcher, were the lesson plans of mathematics, theexercises of practicing on numerical ability, reasoning andspace relation and the test of mathematics learningachievement with the reliability was 0.9026. The data wereanalyzed by means of arithmetic mean, standard deviation andOne-way Analysis of Variance (F-test). The results of research revealed that : 1. The students with several short periods of time inpracticing on numerical ability, reasoning and spacerelation had mathematics learning achievement at nearlyexcellent level, and the students with three relatively longperiods and one single long period of time in practicing onnumerical ability, reasoning and space relation hadmathematics learning achievement at moderate level. 2. The students with several short periods of time inpracticing on numerical ability, reasoning and spacerelation had higher mathematics learning achievement thanstudents with one single long period and three relativelylong periods of time in practicing at the 0.01 level ofsignificance. The students with three relatively longperiods and one single long period of time in practicing onnumerical ability, reasoning and space relation had nodifferent in mathematics learning achievement at the 0.01level of significance. |
